The Malaysian devotees were blessed with the presence of our Beloved Living Yogi, Shri Babaji, on the auspicious celebration of Tamil New Year, which was celebrated on the 14th of April 2018. This heralded the first day of the Tamil Solar Calendar and marks a renewal of one’s focus and determination in their path in life towards the Divinity. Patha Pooja and prayers were held at the Lotus Feet of Shri Babaji, exemplifying the surrender and devotion to God and Guru that guides us through our journey in life.
Babaji’s Vilambi Tamil New Year message advised one to ponder and contemplate on our lives, character and culture as well as the habits that we have acquired to our mind and the exercises we have undertaken over the past year and to reflect if it contributed to the welfare of a larger cause, in society, in our country, and to the universe. The New Year is yet again an opportunity to renew our focus in sadhana and Shri Babaji elaborated that one needs to train our mind, with faith, devotion and love as we walk along the path of the Divine.
Babaji’s blessings in Malaysia continued in the form of Rama Nama Pooja on the 21st of April 2018. The Rama Nama Sangeertanam is a powerful chant in the name of the all-mighty Lord Rama, to alleviate suffering and provide solace to the agitated mind. The chanting of the Rama Nama was led by our Benevolent Living Yogi, focusing our minds on the Name of Lord Rama and Shri Hanuman Ji, drawing inspiration from their faith and dedication. Soul-stirring bhajans by Shri Babaji, Ambaji and devotees harmoniously concluded this divine experience.
On the propitious occurrence of Chitra Pournami, Homa was conducted on the 29th of April, in the presence of Shri Babaji. The symbolic offering of our ego at the feet of Lord Agni, removing one’s negative thoughts while rejuvenating the Atma was performed ceremoniously, culminating in Shri Babaji offering the Poornavathi to the sacrificial flames. Pooja and bhajans were subsequently performed imbuing a sense of calmness and serenity on this auspicious day.
The Malaysian devotees humbly offer our pranams at the Lotus Feet of our Beloved Guru, thanking Shri Babaji for this precious opportunity to spend time in His Divine presence, guiding us to continue our pursuit of a life of sadhana, service and devotion.
